Yörük Ali Efe Museum
Yörük Ali Efe (1895-1951), a commander of the Kuva-yi Milliye during Türkiye's War of Independence, was born in Kavaklı Village, Aydın Province. Honoring his wish to be buried in Yenipazar, his tomb was later moved to the museum garden. The museum displays his belongings, photographs, and other ethnographic items from the War of Independence. Yörük Ali Efe was known for his humility, famously stating that the success of the war was not due to individuals but to the collective efforts of all patriots. He was awarded the Independence Medal by the Turkish Grand National Assembly for his contributions.
