Yalvaç Museum

The museum described in the text consists of two main parts: a garden display and a closed display. The indoor displays are categorized into prehistoric artifacts, classical artifacts, and ethnographic artifacts, as well as St Paul's halls. In the prehistoric artifacts hall, small artifacts collected from the Yalvaç environs, various excavations, and donations are showcased, including mammal fossils, terracotta artifacts from the Old Bronze Age, vases, bowls, ritual vessels, and pottery from the Hittite Period. The classical artifacts hall exhibits original marble works, colossal sculptures, statues of gods and goddesses, Imperial Period portraits, marble cubes, glass works, and artifacts from the Late Hellenistic period. The ethnography hall showcases works collected from Yalvaç and its surroundings. Overall, the museum displays a wide range of artifacts spanning from prehistoric times to the Late Hellenistic period, providing insight into the region's history and cultural heritage.
