Tire City Museum
Tire Museum is an archaeological and ethnographic museum established in 1935 at Yahşi Bey Lodge. It was registered as a state museum in 1946 and moved to its current building in 1971. The museum exhibits movable cultural assets in two halls - the Archaeology Hall and the Ethnography Hall. The Archaeology Hall showcases artifacts such as sculptures, grave steles, and terracotta figurines from 3500 BCE to 1100 CE. The Ethnography Hall displays items like Ottoman Period clothes, ceramics, paintings, and carpets. Additionally, the museum has open exhibition areas in its front and back gardens featuring artifacts from various historical periods. The Tire Museum was closed to visitors on June 26, 2020.
