Ödemiş Museum
Ödemiş, located on a fertile plain by the Little Maeander River, is home to the Ödemiş Museum, established in 1987 through a donation from art collector Mutahhar Başoglu. The museum, renovated in 2015, features a single exhibition hall displaying archaeological and ethnographic artifacts, as well as coins from the Early Bronze Age to the Ottoman period. The Archaeology Section showcases finds from ancient cities like Hypaipa, Neikaia, Palaiapolis, and Koloe, while the Coins Section presents examples from the Lydian and Persian periods to the Ottoman era. The Ethnography Section displays artifacts from the Ottoman and early Republican periods.
