The Dolishane Church, located in Hamamlı Village in the central district of Artvin, was commissioned by King Sumbath of the 10th-century Bagrationi Dynasty and built between 954 and 958 by Architect Gabriel. Used as a monastery until the 14th century, the structure was converted into a mosque in the 16th century and served as a mosque for some time. It underwent partial restoration in 1958.
