Mersin Naval Museum (Mersin Naval Müzesi) exhibits more than 500 objects related to the history of Turkish naval warfare, and inholds a library with 800 books serving researchers in the museum. The museum offers visitors the opportunity to learn about the history of naval wars and to see many objects such as model ships, flags, armour, military uniforms, weapons and oil paintings.
