After a 45-minute walk along a path that was used to ascend to the monasteries during the Eastern Roman period and that has been used for centuries for ritual walks to the sanctuary of the god of weather and rain at the summit of the Latmos (Beşparmak Mountain) , a cave with prehistoric rock paintings dating back to 7-8 thousand years BCE is reached. After a second 45-minute journey, one reaches the Monastery of the Seven, which is one of the many Eastern Roman monasteries and monks' caves and shelters in the region. Today, villagers use this path to reach their olive groves and to go to other villages in the neighbourhood.
