Kütahya Castle (Kütahya Kalesi), constructed by the Eastern Roman Empire in the 8th century and later fortified with additions by the Seljuks, Germiyanids, and Ottomans, is a significant historical landmark in Kütahya. The castle consists of three parts: the Upper Castle, Inner Castle, and Lower Castle. According to Evliya Çelebi, Kütahya Castle has 72 bastions, notable for their closely spaced arrangement. Kütahya Castle, located 3 km from the city, offers both historical and natural beauty. Within the castle grounds, visitors can enjoy a unique experience at the rotating Döner Gazino, which turns 360 degrees every 45 minutes, providing views of the city for a memorable dining or coffee break.
