Kurşunlu Mosque

Located within the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List, Harput is home to one of the finest examples of Ottoman period mosques. Built between 1738 and 1739, the mosque has a rectangular layout, with a square prayer hall covered by a dome. The dome’s drum has four windows, and it takes its name due to its domes being covered with lead. The mosque’s last congregation area is covered by three domes, and its minaret is constructed of cut stone. Yılan Dirilten Mineral Water Spring, located on the Mutki road in the central district of Bitlis, is used for bathing practices and is known to relieve indigestion.
