Konya Akşehir Stone Artifacts Museum
Stone Madrasa was built in 1250 by Fahrettin Ali and was part of a complex with a mosque, tomb, inn, imaret, and fountain, although only the madrasa, masjid, and tomb remain today. The madrasa features a courtyard with iwans and a monumental gate. It was constructed using different building materials, with room coverings that include domes and barrel vaults. The rooms have stove and cupboard niches. The building underwent restoration between 1960-1965 and 1971 and served as an Archaeological Museum until 1986. It now houses Turkish-Islamic period artifacts, tombstones, inscriptions, and stone objects, showcasing daily life and education in specially designed rooms.
