İzmir Culture and Art Factory
The historic Alsancak Tekel Factory, built in the late 19th century in İzmir, has been revitalized as the İzmir Culture and Arts Factory. It now houses two museums: the Archaeology and Ethnography Museum, which highlights the city's rich historical past, and the İzmir Painting and Sculpture Museum, displaying significant art pieces from the 19th century to modern times. The largest building, formerly the production center of the factory, has been transformed into the Archaeology and Ethnography Museum, while the second-largest building houses the extensive collection of the Painting and Sculpture Museum.
