İzmir Çamlık Selçuk Railway Museum
The museum is situated on the historic İzmir-Aydın Railway line near the Çamlık neighborhood in Türkiye, close to the Ancient City of Ephesus. Due to the reorganization of the railway line, a section of the railway and Çamlık Railway Station were no longer in use, leading to the establishment of the museum on the closed station area. The museum's development began in 1991 and was finalized in 1997, utilizing the original railway line constructed in 1866 for its infrastructure. TCDD (State Railways of the Republic of Türkiye) fully owns the land, buildings, and locomotive collections of the museum, while Atilla Mısırlıoğlu has been managing the facility for nearly a century. Mısırlıoğlu, whose father was once a signal officer at Çamlık Railway Station, has taken charge of overseeing the museum's operations for a considerable period of time.
