Burg von Alanya
Die Burg von Alanya, die aus dem 3. Jahrhundert n. Chr. stammt, beherbergt oströmische, seldschukische und osmanische Artefakte. Die 6,5 km langen Mauern umschließen historische Bauwerke wie den seldschukischen Palast, Kirchen, Moscheen und fast 400 Zisternen. Der Rote Turm, der 1226 während der Seldschukenzeit erbaut wurde, ist ein Symbol von Alanya und dient heute als Ethnographisches Museum. Die nahe gelegene Werft, die ebenfalls aus der seldschukischen Ära stammt, war entscheidend für die Vorherrschaft der seldschukischen Marine und ist heute ein Schiffs- und Schifffahrtsmuseum.
