Bilecik Museum

Originally built in 1794 as a gendarmerie building, the structure later became a prison before being destroyed during the 1921-1922 occupation. Rebuilt after the Turkish War of Independence, it served as both a courthouse and prison until 1995. In 2007, it was reopened as the Bilecik Museum under the Söğüt Museum Directorate, and later came under the Bilecik Museum Directorate in 2010. The museum displays artifacts from Neolithic to Eastern Roman periods, including war tools, ceramics, and glass works, alongside exhibits depicting the Ottoman Empire's founding and ethnographic displays of camp and domestic life.
